In the heart of Flat Rock you'll find original artwork, gifts, crafts, antiques and even well-aged wine.
Start with the shops on Little Rainbow Row located at the corner of Hwy 225 (Greenville Hwy) and W. Blue Ridge Road in the historic Village of Flat Rock. Named to pay homage to Flat Rock's Charlestonian roots, Little Rainbow Row is hard to miss. The Wrinkled Egg, housed in the building fondly remembered as Peace's Grocery (c.1890) the community's only general store until the early 1980's, forms the anchor for this collection of colorful shops.
Stroll the sidewalk, explore the shops, relax in the rocking chairs out front then cross the street to browse the book store located in our original post office. You can reach all the shops in the Village on foot.

FLAT ROCK TAILGATE MARKET Find everything from herbs to seasonal vegetables plus plants, flowers, native perennials, baked goods and more. Most things are grown right here in Henderson County. Tailgate market opens April 22, 2010 and runs until November. Hours: 3pm - 6pm, Thursdays. |

HAND IN HAND GALLERY Hand in Hand Gallery showcases the work of the Voorhees family of artists including owners David Voorhees, porcelain artist and Molly Sharp Voorhees, jeweler. Over 150 recognized regional artists and changing exhibits are also featured in a variety of media. |
