FLAT ROCK TAILGATE MARKET
Check out our vendor of the month!
The trend seems more and more toward eating fresh, locally and sustainably and we’re looking forward to a lively and prosperous Flat Rock Tailgate this year. The Market is open Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm from April 22, 2010 through October 28, 2010.
The Flat Rock Tailgate Market is proud to feature locally grown seasonal produce, perennials, herbs, maple trees, roses, wild and cultivated mushrooms, baked goods, honey, jellies, goat cheese, seafood, flowers, and much more. New to the Market this year are two vendors offering CSA boxes (Community Supported Agriculture).
The Flat Rock Tailgate Market is sponsored by the Flat Rock Merchants Association and has been organized by local residents whose goal is to offer to the community the highest quality produce (featuring organic and chemical free) and homemade products that are in season and locally or regionally produced. To assure that goal, all prospective vendors are screened through an application process. To obtain an application to become a vendor or for further information about the Flat Rock Tailgate Market, please call Molly Sharp at (828)698-8775, Cheryl Stippich at (828)693-0781 or Saundra Poces at (828)698-8149.
